WHS Trainer Assessor

Worksite Training is seeking an experienced Work Health and Safety vocational trainer assessor for our Wollongong location.
The ideal candidate will hold - current trainer/assessor qualifications, - Certificate IV Work Health and Safety or above or equivalent - have industry experience

Administration Traineeship

Worksite Training is seeking applications from aspiring candidates for an exciting career opportunity with WST based in Corrimal. The successful candidate will join a fast-paced working environment whilst completing a Certificate III Business Traineeship. Working within this team, offers a rewarding opportunity to learn essential reception and administration skills in an industry which is exciting and ever changing.

School Based Administration Traineeship

Worksite Training is looking for a current year 10 or 11 student who wants to complete Certificate III Business as part of their HSC study. The role will involve working on the job at our Corrimal office providing administration support and customer service. Our team is collaborative, dynamic and inclusive.

Worksite Training is seeking expressions of interest for suitably qualified trainers and assessors in a range of specialties. Applicants must be passionate about providing quality training and education services to students and excellent customer service.

What do I need to get a start as a traffic controller?

As a starting point an employer in the traffic control or logistics business will need you to have:

  1. A current NSW Drivers Licence
  2. A white card (or general construction induction card)
  3. either a current RMS issued Traffic Control Card or a SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Training Card. Please note from 1 July 2020 RMS no longer issues Traffic Control Cards.

How do I get a SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Training Card?

Enrol in the appropriate course, WST Controller, WST Implementer, WST Combo or WST Designer.

Students who have completed training and hold a valid Statement of Completion (SOC) are able to carry out supervised work until they complete their final assessment.

Once your final assessment is successfully completed you will be issued with a SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Training Card.

I have been working as a traffic controller for 6 months, how can I progress my career?

When you have at least 6 months experience as a traffic controller you may be interested in becoming a team leader. To become a team leader, you will need to complete the WST Designer course.
