RIIRTM301D Operate a Truck or Trailer Mounted Attenuator (TMA)

Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) drivers have a very important role for ensuring the protection of all crew members and other workers on site. They provide protection from wayward vehicles or inattentive drivers in or around a work zone. This course allows participants to operate a truck or trailer mounted attenuator when carrying out traffic management activities in the construction industry.

RIISS00054 Traffic Controller Skill Set

This course provides training for workers who are required to control traffic with a Stop/Slow bat.  This program is a good entry point for those wishing to establish themselves in the traffic control/management industry. All training and assessment is carried out by SafeWork NSW approved trainers and assessors. This course is delivered in combination with the Traffic Management Implementer Skill Set. RIISS00055 Traffic Management Implementer Skill Set

This course provides training for workers who are required to set up and work with Traffic Control Guidance Plans at a work site. This program is a good entry point for those wishing to establish themselves in the traffic control/management industry. All training and assessment is carried out SafeWork NSW approved trainers and assessors. This course is delivered in combination with the Traffic Controller Skill Set. RIISS00056 Traffic Management Designer

This course provides training for workers who are required to select, modify or design traffic management plans and traffic control guidance plans for road works, produce major upgrades of standard plans and/or inspect traffic control plans on road construction sites. All training and assessment is carried out by SafeWork NSW approved trainers and assessors.

Traffic Control Combo Course

This course is designed for workers who are required to have the skills and knowledge to control traffic with a Stop/Slow bat and set up signs and devices in accordance with a Traffic Control Guidance Plan. This program is a good entry point for those wishing to establish themselves into the traffic control/management industry. Having both the Traffic Controller and Implement TCGP qualifications is not a mandatory requirement for employment however it is highly recommended to improve your chances of gaining employment within the industry.
